A History

Tri RhosenTri Rhosen was established in 1995 and is the vision of Dr Hugh Bartholomeusz. Tri Rhosen Day Hospital began as a one theatre day surgery with two associated consulting suites and a procedure room located at 1 Court Street, Ipswich. This facility was officially opened on 21 January 1996 by the then Governor General of Australia, The Honourable Bill Hayden AC.

In October 2005, due to increasing demand for day procedures, Tri Rhosen Day Hospital expanded to two operating theatres and moved to new premises. It is now located in the Medicross Centre, 10 Churchill Street, Ipswich. This new site is close to its original location and within the designated Ipswich Medical Precinct. Tri Rhosen Day Hospital continues to provide a wide range of day procedure services within its new technologically advanced facility.

The refurbished 1 Court Street premises now encompass four consulting suites and two procedure rooms and is the location of Tri Rhosen Specialist Centre & Tri Rhosen Cosmetic Centre. From a humble beginning in 1995, Tri Rhosen Services now provides a wide range of specialist consulting, cosmetic and multi-specialty day procedure services to the rapidly expanding Ipswich and West Moreton Community. Due to the scope and quality of services provided, many Brisbane patients have also been attracted to the facilities.
